Our tryouts, practices, and positional clinics have been meticulously planned to make the most of your time, preparing you for summer tournaments, enhancing individual and team skills, and ensuring you have an unforgettable summer filled with exciting tournament travels.

  • When: Sunday, January 12, 2025
    Youth Teams (2030-2035): 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM
    High School Teams (2026-2029): 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM
    Where: Truman Middle School

  • Practices will be 90 minutes and on Mon/Wed in July/July early evenings. Practices will continue through July when our final event concludes. Our practices have been intentionally scheduled to not conflict with our additional team and program resources to maximize training environment, player experience, and opportunities

  • The games most talented players will lead our Summer Pro Training series in June. We are very excited to welcome PLL Pros and NCAA DI Champions to Tacoma this June. These very skilled individuals, who have shown their talent both on and off the field, will personally guide and mentor our South Sound players through a curated collection of skills and drills. With their expert guidance and unmatched experience, our aspiring athletes will definitely learn new skills and knowledge.

  • Positional training sessions are a fantastic way to receive individualized instruction from our elite group of specialty coaches.  Positional sessions are tailored to give detailed adjustments to players that want to build their positional IQ as well as lacrosse mechanics. There will be 4 summer specialty trainings that are free to all South Sound Summer Team participants! They serve as a compliment to regular practices and are optional, but highly recommended. 

  • We pride ourselves in making the most strategic tournament decisions for the best interests of our players and teams. Our primary goals are to help our players become the best versions of themselves and to provide the most valuable and fun lacrosse experience possible.
